Community Events/Charity Campaigns

As well as being involved in the community of Metro Atlanta, we also believe in assisting communities on a global level and will help with projects that promotes education and the betterment of it's community. We currently have two ongoing Campaigns and hope that you will join us in the ongoing mission of assisting with these projects in building a brighter future for people from all walks of life.

Campaign #1: The Central Night Shelter

The Central Night Shelter provides temporary housing for
men during the harsh winter months which span from November 1st until March 31st. In
additional to temporary housing, they also provide nightly meals and recreation activities
such as basketball and yoga.

We understand that times are more difficult now than ever before and we want to continue
to be a light and of service to those who are far too often forgotten and overlooked. Below
you will find a brief list of items that the Central Night Shelter is in need of in order to
provide their guests with a pleasant stay and comfort.

‣ Blankets
‣ Towels
‣ Toiletries i.e. toothbrushes, toothpaste, mouthwash, bath soap
‣ Men’s Undergarments

Please feel free to reach out to us if you would like to help gather and transport these
items to the shelter. For more information about The Central Night Shelter you can view their website at centralnightshelter.org.

Campaign #2: Ecole Bon Samaritain de Leogane

Ecole Bon Samaritain de Leogane is a school in Haiti that we have supported since 2018. The school founder, Edzer Dorvil , built the school from the ground up.  He was born and raised in Haiti and is now living in Metro Atlanta. L.E.A.R.N. has made many donations of food and supplies over the years and have sponsored a student in 2020.  The school offers classes from kindergarten through high school as well as night classes for adults.  Below are ways you can help support Ecole Bon Samaritain de Leogane:

‣Donate Food (i.e. tomato paste, rice) and school supplies by mailing them to: 355 Daniel Mill Crossing Villa Rica, GA 30180

‣Sponsor a student for only $200/yr.

-This pays for the students food, school supplies, uniform and also helps pay the employees.
